It’s when a man calmly tells you that you shouldn’t use a butter knife instead of a screw driver because you’ll strip a head... then you want to shove the butter knife in their eye socket cos NOBODY ASKED HIM FOR HIS HELP, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I swear, until today I legit thought it was referring to was how you have to very carefully explain to men what you're trying to say because they are frequently so freaking clueless.

    LOL!

Wait, are you telling her “ok, boomer” or are you calling her a whippersnapper?

I refuse to catch up! My presumed definition is far more reality-based!! You know men are daft when it comes to emotional intelligence!

I'm proud of my delayed knowledge of newly created words! I embrace my Gen-Xity. :)

But it was a thing in 2016, then #meToo started and men are afraid to say anything. It’s fine.

Words invented by sixteen-year-olds should be yeeted out of the lexicon for being too weird.

That is when you're at school or at work and Creepy Gross Guy walks over to your desk, uninvited, puts both of his arms on your desk right in front of you, then hunches over like a vulture to look over your work to point out what he thinks you're doing wrong, even though your grades are better than his or you do a better job than him at work.  Ugh. *rolls eyes*  So umm, yeah, that's never happened to me, lol

I don't think your correction was warranted. You could say, Livvie does a better job than Randy at work, couldn't you? Him is a substitute for Randy.

I consulted some online grammar tools, and it appears that the general consensus is that either is correct. One article suggests "than he" should be saved for the most formal occasions.

I am reporting this to the new IA investigator assigned to your case.

“Him” doesn’t do the job, “he” does.

Either are acceptable, particularly for informal writing and speaking.
