What was the last movie you watched that made you cry?

I’m watching a movie called “A Dog’s Purpose” I‘ve cried four times and the movie’s not half over. I can’t even with this movie right now.

    Movies don't get to me that way. Some songs do.

    Red Dog got close. (SPOILER ALERT) Not when he died, but when he refused to accept that his master had, and went looking for him.

    Unless I one day find myself in a deep hole devoid of emotion (again), I'm never watching that one. 

    The last one that moved me to tears was a documentary called "13th". Just when I thought I couldn't feel more disgusted by American history...

    You should watch it, I know you love animals. The  ending isn’t bad at all. It’s a really emotional roller coaster of a movie though.

    I really can't. I'm trying super, duper hard to protect my emotional health right now. 

    I've seen previews and it seems like it's a story that I already believe is 100% true.  

    Yeah, I'm getting teary just thinking about it...

    Understand, I don't want to explain the movie to you incase you ever do watch it, but it doesn’t end sad. Any dog lover would love the movie and the ending.

      Believe it or not, I have never seen that movie. For some strange reason, my mother was extremely anti-cartoon when she was raising us, whether it was cartoons on television or cartoons in the movies (ok, animated movies). Additionally, she also seemed to have had a problem with Disney’s mesmerization of young children, so she kept us away from almost anything associated with Disney and with any other studios that put out similar fare. I grew up only hearing about movies like that from other children. 

      Nope, I never even had the chance to cry or not cry at Bambi’s fate.

      Nope. As an adult, I’ve seen parts of it, but never the whole movie. I could never stand the little boy and his lisp.

    Supposedly, animals only have mortal souls, but I am permitted to think that whatever is "good" somehow will exist forever.
