Hey, usually I give a car a name based on the license plate, but with WJR I was left with Jabberwock, which didn't work for the above reasons. So its name is Ruby (it's a Subaru).

  • The anti-theft feature on my remote start is all glitched up.  The only way I can start is using the remote start. There is also a sensor on my spare tire that needs to be changed.

      Why did you write "mistake"?

    Let's see...

It's a Toyota (which, of course, means the interior light doesn't work anymore)
I bought it new in 2001 (the interior light worked then)
It's green (at least it was when I bought it)
It needs washed and waxed (any volunteers?)
It has a little over 30,000 miles on it (I had a very short work commute)
It's got a V6 engine (takes steep hills in 5th gear)
It has a manual transmission w/on-the-fly 4WD (for when those steep hills are covered in snow)
It has several spiders living in it (they refuse to pay rent and seem to be immune to vacuums)
It has a spacious battery compartment (can comfortably house a battery plus a family of 4 rats)
It has a brand new primary O2 sensor (rats got the munchies one night)
It has brand new front grill (sold the old one for a "buck")

You didn't get it?  It's been almost an entire week since it was supposed to be delivered to you!

It's very dog-friendly. Human passengers have become a rarity over the past 6 months.

It's a small, cheap, energy efficient, sedan.  It is not a car I want but I bought it for the benefit of someone who is elderly whom I drive to appointments and outings.  She could no longer get into my SUV.  I hope she is around for a long long time, but when she goes so will this little Hyundai.   I would have two cars, like I did for many years, but I only have one reserved parking space and cannot imagine not being able to see my car(s) when I look out the window.  More of a deterrent is the high cost of Florida's no-fault car insurance.

I don't have a car. Riding around on an inchworm is a lot more fun.
