I heat stuff in a heavy porcelain bowl and the bowl always gets hotter than the contents. Is porcelain a no-no?

Certain microwave technology cooks from the inside out*, so . . .
*Of course, this doesn’t explain why after cooking a burrito, a Hot Pocket, or a chalupa in a microwave oven, they’re molten lava on the two ends and arctic tundra in the center.
