    You really need to get some REAL noise cancelling headphones (not the crap ones that profess to) the real ones are old tech or analogue. The headset are just high quality ear defenders which still let in noise to a degree. In effect reversing sound to nothing but maybe a slight low white noise hiss very low in volume. I believe in theighties there were effective devices in cars that reduced engine and road noise

    Good idea durdle I got a uv-c wand, it kills viruses and germs and even bugs and fungus spores, so I can sterilize masks in seconds, I had it before the pandemic because of asthma allergy with my son. They're very expensive now, no surprise!

I believe that the day to day trouble that you and i encounter is part of the world's economy. Finance, gambling, lawyers, the list goes on, there's always someone to get you into it or get you out of it. As to why there seems to be more of it I, think is obvious. In the eighties the worlds population was around four billion, today eleven billion, couple that with internet coverage exploding in the last decade and there is your answer, troubles are broadcasted 24/7.     What's "Wyke Cheddar Weymouth" though? I saw your answer about cheeses. I believe there is a Cheddar cheese made by a Wyke Farm, though as far as I know that is not the same Wyke as Wyke Regis, near Weymouth!
