Is there a tune you just can't get out of your head?

  • I was playing Just Dance last night and did this song and it's been stuck in my head ever since.  It's a throwback to a time when Corona was just good music and beer and not a virus.

For some strange reasons that I can’t fathom, that hardly ever happens to me at all. I guess I’m always switching from one thing to another so much that it’s hard to pin me down to . . . wait, what was that shiny thing that just went past me?  Sorry, I have to go investigate, bye!

(Yeah, I'm sort of the same way - - songs don't get stuck in my head too often.)

No, not today.  I was careful not to accidentally read anyone's answer.  I sure don't want someone else's unending song in my head.

You don’t really believe that their hatred is a new thing or that it’s only about you singing that song, do you?  Geez, talk about being delusional.

    :(

    I

    love

    this

    song!

    Really!

    Fergie

    amazes

    me!

To me, she "nails" very well so many different styles of singing! For the longest time, I loved this song and I never knew who sang it. And then I found out by chance it was Fergie. I LOVE that "How come every time you come around . . . " chorus, especially the way she sings it.

I have to go to bed now - - this was a great way for me to sign off for now! Glad I saw this question. I enjoyed listening, of course! Thanks! :)

Ya and it is - You Don't Own Me by Lesley Gore. They are using that song in the new Kraft Dinner ads so I hear it 10X a day. The guy from the Bare Naked Ladies is in the ad and he is eating a bowl of KD while he is wearing a fur coat (but not a real fur coat because cruel) then he puts some fancy ketchup on the KD like in his song if I had a million dolars. Cheers!

Lately, this one, one of very few covers I preferred to the original. I always wanted a keytar like James Leigh-Dingli's.
