Was there an artist or musical group of your generation that everyone was 'supposed to' love, but you didn't?

I was never a Hendrix fan and I really didn't like Janis Joplin.

Duran Duran. Probably because all the girls were going nuts over Simon Le Bon, and I look nothing like him.

One (or both?) of those "Taylor" guys was/were both better looking than Bon, Simon Le Bon!

'Hungry Like the Wolf" was great. Other than that, I could take them or, more likely, leave them.

I've always liked this song and never knew who sang it until recently.
I thought I never  liked Duran Duran but I like them for this song, "Ordinary World." To me, it sounds nothing like their other stuff that I don't much like.   :)

I could think of some eloquent and emotional response. But I don't want to. So....

    Wow.
    Right on.

    Merry Christmas, Welby!

  • Never been a fan of Eminem, but he's always been popular among my fellow millennials.
