There is a lot of “preaching to the choir” going on there; some people already share those same viewpoints before reading them here.

I looked extremely closely... I don't see it!

Let's not judge another human's own unique brand of crazy just because it's different than our own, Stuart.

No.  I see it as merely a way of expressing my opinion, not to change yours.

You are less incessant about it than some.

Just venting. The fact that the launch codes of the world's most powerful nuclear arsenal are in the tiny orange claws of a demented megalomaniac frankly scares me.

You've said that many times, and yet you're still here to say it again nearly four years later.

He hasn't had a valid reason to launch one yet, but he WANTS to. He even suggested lobbing one at a hurricane, oblivious to the fact that such would simply make it worse.
If (as seems likely) he loses in November, he has two months to manufacture a phony war and go out with a bang - literally.

Since when does Trump need a valid reason to do anything?

Only because some military general diverted Trump's attention away from the nuclear buttons with a hamburger and fries.

They are probably just as lacking in critical thinking skills as those whose minds they seek to change.

Most of the self-appointed educators would probably like to believe they have changed minds. However, I personally haven't seen any evidence of that happening here in AM.

Do those who have appointed themselves educators-of-the-rest-of-us-on-the-evils-of-bad grammar, and spelling mistakes, actually think their posts change any mnids?

It's not about changing minds so much as helping improve communication skills and striking back against the dumbing down of language and society. I will never stop railing against that. That's a promise.

I think we all get that, and that's why you don't care who you upset, or if others don't actually want you to do it. This post was edited by kjames at September 13, 2020 5:40 PM MDT
