This includes corrections to grammar, spelling, vocabulary, sentence construction, punctuation, and typos.
Don’t forget that in addition to grammar-policing, many former members have also left this website because of the politics-related backbiting, the frustrations of how restrictive they’ve found the rules to be, having been banned for posting content that management deemed inappropriate, etc.
A few months ago, a fellow member tried to dump it all on me personally as the only reason new members soon leave here. A perusal of any of the internet’s many review sites reinforces that what I list above is far more at hand than little ol’ me.
Lastly, I’ve stated it often: I have absolutely no problem with any person completely ignoring what I post if that’s what he or she wants to do. I do not force nor attempt to force any person to alter what he or she has posted. I have just as much dislike for intentional misuse of grammar as some people have dislike for grammar corrections. Some people have suggested that I should merely ignore errors; I will do that when errors are not posted.

(your you’re weeping)
How or why would I know that for sure? I suspected it, but I have no way of knowing for sure one way or the other, I cannot read your mind. You’re human, you are capable of error, just as I am. I know that you have a positively delicious sense of humor, so sure, I thought it may have been intentional.

I know for a fact that many people do not appreciate it.

Thank you for your suggestion. In the majority of cases, I choose to focus on grammar first.
