I own my cat because I got it hooked on catnip and it has to do what I say and catch 3 mice a day or it doesn't get its daily fix. Actually I don't own my pets I take care of them and they take care of me. Cheers!
My cat seems to think he is in charge of things around here. He'll come stare at me and that is his command for me to stand up and obey. When he leads me to the bedroom that means he wants to be brushed for at least 10 minutes. Five different places he'll lead me to and each different place he goes I am supposed to know what I gotta do for him. He's come to know how easy I am for him to manipulate. But anyway he is an indoor cat and I think he leads a very boring life so I don't really mind providing him a certain amount of entertainment when he wants.
My cat is old so I hold his food bowl so he can eat. He likes being in the kitchen with me so I pull his living room chair into the kitchen so he can sleep. He prefers the chair be in the sunlight.. and that I keep it in the sunlight even when the sun moves. He prefers that I sit on the sofa and not the recliner, as he's old and the recliner is near the heater. He likes to have his water changed twice a day and will wait patiently for me to change it (it must be at 65 F or I have to get new). He likes... hey, wait a minute... since when does the master do all the work?
