If you could visit any country you have not already been to, what would it be?

I would like to visit Russia. I hear the women there are hot.

Interesting place, however go beyond Tokyo.  Here are a few suggestions

Osaka-Kyota.  Whiskey distillery's, Gion District Kyota, Old Imperil Palaces Kyoto, Hiroshima, and a lot more
Nagoya.  Mt. Fuji and the Tokido Road and a lot more
North of Tokyo - too much to mention her

  • Thanks for the suggestions.  I would definitely want to explore outside of the city.

She looks like a very sweet Babooshka.  We had neighbor down the street back in the 80s who was an older Russian woman and kept a few children in her home.  They all called her Babooshka.  :)

Right now I don't want to travel internationally.

I know you knew too before he even posted that. I wonder why he thought you didn’t know. Hmmm.

Even Irecognized it as meaning “grandmother”, and I’m by no means connected to any Russianism. It’s just that I’m well-read, well-traveled, and well-rounded. I didn’t know about your Russianosity, but I do know you’re a person of above-average intelligence, which is why I intuitively knew you’d know. Heck, I thought that all smart people knew that word.

Isn't that rather like unscrewing a pregnant woman?

The Causeway is long since gone, so you will be at the liesure of the Tides.  Park yourself in Renne as a base of operations.  Brittany is a marvel.  PS my sons best friend lives in Renne, been there many times.  Enjoy

I didn't know that about the causeway. Sort of saddens me.

Thanks for adding more information here. No one has ever done that for me as far as when I've posted about Le Mont St. Michel.

I saw a picture of Le Mont St. Michal while in school studying the French language. I immediately loved it. I find it possibly the most beautiful human-made "thing" I've seen - - better than any of the so-called Seven Wonders of the World or whatever those famous things are called.

And the interaction of the beautiful layout with those tides makes it very intriguing to me.

And, yeah -- and from the little I've looked, I think I'd like the Brittany portion of France.

I'm out of here. Thanks again.

As far as my other answer's thread, I know you and I have talked a bit about the beauty of Le Mont St. Michel when I've posted. My comment to Archerchef was that I don't think anyone has ever added specific details about the place when I've posted about it. I feel better clarifying my comment up there.

Literally any place with a cool climate. The farther away from the equator, the better, but not the artic or anything like that. This post was edited by Zack at October 15, 2020 9:28 PM MDT

I'm with you on that -- and we both know we're in the minority on that. (I joke with people that I would "head north" for the summer when they say they want to "head south" for the winter, ha.)

I tweaked my answer to not include places like The Artic and/or Antarctica.
