Course not! What I know about US Marines is that they are highly trained and multi talented Armed Forces service people.

Our Canadian Coast Guard is not a military service, they just do aids to navigation work, search and rescue and provide ice breakers for the St Lawrence seaway and the far north.

The US Coast Guard is considered one of the nation’s five armed services only during wartime, and its role is shifted to the umbrella of the Department of Defense. In peacetime, it is under the Department of Transportation.

Randy please the Marines are not a separate service though sometimes it feels like that.  Note when we were active duty we were the Mens Department of the Department of the Navy.  Did note everything goes through Navbuper? This post was edited by Archerchef at December 17, 2020 1:32 AM MST

No military base in Canada? Used to be a base Argentia in Newfoundland, I think was an airbase.

I hate to state the obvious, but your question asked if every state in the USA has a military base.  I'm pretty sure Newfoundland is not a U.S. state. :)

The website also listed all US military bases in foreign countries. I googled Argentia it showed there was a US Naval Air Station (Fort MaCandrew) there that shut down in 1994.

US must be a very wealthy country to have trillions of dollars to spend establishing and keeping up all these military bases. This post was edited by Kittigate at December 1, 2020 12:00 AM MST

It listed all military bases.  Your question was specific to the states in the U.S.A.

Yes but I didn't mind that the site also listed all the US military bases worldwide. That was a bonus.

Spunky the question said Regular branch.  The bases in Minnesota are National Guard and Reserve, there is not one Regular Services base in MN.  Now back in the day Ft. Snelling was a regular Army Cavalry Base. Until the Nike Bases were demob in the 60's they were the last remenants of Regular Military

There are a number of other States that fit this description

    Navy Reserve
    Air Force Reserve
    Air National Guard
    Coast Guard Reserve
    Marine Corps Reserve
