A miniature frankfurter? That was back when I was a kid. They were very popular at kids' b'day parties back then. Oddly, I still remember the mouth sensations: mainly salty, slightly sweet, juicy with fat and water, and smooth texture, a combination between pasty and rubbery.
I became a vegetarian at 21 - and have not tasted cooked animal since then, except via a few rare mistakes.

As in a hot dog? Several months ago. My grandchildren like them, I was humouring them.
It's actually "wienie", as in "Wienerwurst". Frankfurt is kinda embarrassed about them, so they blame them on Vienna.

It is better not to swallow because it can be a choking hazard, Sometimes weenies are made with hoofs and horns and pieces of them can get lodged in the wind pipe. Cheers!
