Have you ever used a metal detector to find some kind of treasures buried in the ground?

I took my metal detector to a beach on a treasure hunt one time but soon had a following of kids trying to grab all the goodies which was mostly bottle caps and junk and only one 25¢ piece.

I did find a few old coins in my own back yard.

  • Yep. It's fun. My dad and I have searched our entire acre of property. The most memorable things we found were an old spoon, a measuring cup, a pair of scissors, and a coin from the 1940s. :)
