Leads me into tricky territory because I don't wish to cause offense.

Because I'm an atheist, I see things like cathedrals, hymns and great art as monuments to falsehoods and mythology.
And yet I love them - I cannot help but be moved by the beauty and the portrayals of human nature, even when it is at its most barbarous.

No offense taken as I know people don't necessarily subscribe to what I do.  I can enjoy works of great beauty and portrayals of human nature but being a Christian I must consider them merely human works.  No matter what happened to inspire or inform them.

I acknowledge as false that "blue sky, full sun" weather is completely acknowledged as the only beautiful weather.

Yet, the sun is pretty at times, and I can enjoy it at times. And that whole Vitamin D helping with one's mood seems to be possibly true.

This is one  of my favorite T-shirts. (People laugh out loud when they see it on me, too. )
