I bought an ordinary kind of sammich from a sidewalk vendor one time but what made it so special in tastiness was the kind of spice they used in it. I went back and asked what the spice was but they would not tell me.
You can get the same thing a lot cheaper and in a less crowded place by going to Junior's or the Mill Basin Kosher Deli in Brooklyn. Or in Manhattan, Second Ave. Deli is still expensive but a lot less crowded.
