What medical procedure do you least like that you might have to sometimes endure?

Dental, surgery, etc.

Ever had a COVID test? Felt like they were scraping my brain.

No.. but a rumor started somewhere that the  medical people began doing anal swabs because it was found to be more reliable than throat swabs.
Which would you prefer? Edit: I just googled 'anal swab for covid'19' and apparently they are doing that in China. Not a rumor. This post was edited by Kittigate at February 3, 2021 7:19 AM MST

I think an anal swab would be easier than what I've heard about the COVID test -- just like what Slartibartfast said.

The new Covid nasal swabs are better. They do not have to go back as far.

Yes but I don't know what the covid'19 bug would be doing in that remote area.

I don't like the sharp pricking instrument during dental checkups --scrape, scrape, prick, over every tooth, one by one --
I squeeze the tips of two fingernails against each other the whole time, to take my mind off any potential sudden 'scrape'-prick' minor pain, whatever.
    Hard to explain.

It's really not that bad but it was what came to mind for me.

I hate getting an IV.  I have really small veins.  They ask me which arm is best and I tell them. They look at it and immediately want to look at the other. And the shake their head and go back to the other arm. Sometimes the call for someone better at it.
They never get it the first time.

I have learned they can use a ultrasound to help guide them. But still a process.

They keep trying to implant a heart in me. Futile effort, I tell them that every time, but do they listen? Nooooooooo.

You don't need a heart anyway when your life revolves mainly around sammiches and tildes.

Mainly dental work. Medical procedures are just annoying.

I forget what it's called, but that one where they cut off your head to count the rings - to see whether you are ready for euthanasia, to make room for the new people.
