Yes, I saw the filming of at least one of the scenes. I recall that Valerie Harper in person was much more attractive than Mary Tyler Moore in person.

That is so fun to me!

I like that show a lot.

Harper is/was beautiful to me. Very funny on the show, too.

If I met him I would probably do what Wayne and Garth  did in the Wayne's World movie - bow and say I'm not worthy I'm not worthy. Cheers!

I love their "Killer" and "Alice Cooper Goes to Hell" albums!
    :)

"Killer" is one of my favorite albums from anyone!

My favorite is Love It To Death and my second favorite is Billion Dollar Babies. To this day I still wonder if the World would be a better place if Alice Cooper had ran and won the US presidency. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at March 23, 2021 8:48 PM MDT

    Yes.  :)

I like the "Billion Dollar Babies" one, too. I don't think I know of the "Love It to Death" one offhand. I would do well to give it a listen. I like pretty much anything by the band.  :)

I really like Lily Tomlin, too.

I saw her in one of her 'live' one-person comedy shows. After the show, there was a small crowd of people in the theater alley wishing to just see her. She came out and looked sincerely and pleasantly surprised to see people waiting to see her. She smiled and said, "I'm so sorry - - I have to go to another commitment right now and I can't sign autographs or anything."

And, to this day, I am still incredibly surprised with myself that I had immediately asked her, "Can I then have a hug?"

She smiled even bigger and said, "Of course," as she walked to me, smiling, with her arms outstretched. We hugged.

And then she proceeded to hug everyone.

I'm not exaggerating at all - - that is exactly how that little moment happened. Very sweet and kind of her.

Met Angry Anderson (front man for hard rock band Rose Tattoo, also played Ironbar in Mad Max III - Beyond Thunderdome) in 1988, he was best man at a wedding at which my better half was Matron of Honour. Couldn't believe how short the guy is.

Also met the entire touring England Cricket team in 2006, they were attending a function at the Adelaide Oval that coincided with a regular Umpires' Association meeting.

Fun stuff! Thanks for answering, Slartibartfast!

I only know Rose Tattoo vaguely by name. I looked up some images. I should listen, too.

I hosted a famous person in my home many times.

(He wasn't famous at the time. He's not super famous yet, but I believe he will be!)

    I also met Rick Springfield!

Thanks for answering, SavvyAnsely.  :) I enjoy your answer.  :)  Woke up, couldn't get back to sleep. Have to get up in a couple of hours again to work. Rather than lie there, thought I'd get up and do something for a sec. I've read that is better than just lying there waiting to go back to sleep.
Thanks for several recent likes on my posts.  :)
