I love reading that line all by itself! :)

I don't know the movie, which makes me like the line even better, ha! (I smile even though it might be a drama or something and it could be a moving/dramatic/horrific/sad/funny/ etc moment)

    Lol!!
    Ha!

I haven't seen the movie but it looks like a Pink Panther movie. I bet I'd like Sellers in those movies.

At least, I think that's him. (Have you seen "Being There"? He blew me away in that movie.

Yes, that was Peter Sellers in the Pink Panther and I think that was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.  I liked Return of the Pink Panther and Shot in the Dark.  I haven't seen Being There.

I bet you would like "Being There."  If you're looking for a movie to watch sometime, I really recommend it.  :)

I'd do well to watch those Pink Panther movies, too. :)

    I knew it, I'm surrounded by a$$holes!

    "I love you!"
    "I know."

Yes, it's true. This man has no d**k.

I had to Google, because I could hear that line and it was driving me crazy.

Oh, but in my brain, I was quite close! Released only 1 year apart and I was connecting actor Paul Gleason to Dan Aykroyd because of their Trading Places connection!

Makes perfect sense to me! ;)

I love this question so much! I'll be thinking about it for a while.

"Sometimes being a b*tch is all a woman has to hold onto".

"My husband wasn't good to me and look how I turned out" or "You say you're sorry, or I'm going to make you f*ckin sorry".

    I'll keep thinking on it.

    :)

Thanks again about liking my question!

    2 and 3 - - yes!!

    1 --  nope   :)

And, for me, I could watch "A Christmas Story" over and over and always enjoy it. I enjoy it all. My point:
As much as I enjoy watching that movie, that line - - and actress Melinda Dillon's delivery - - "My Favorite!" line for sure!
And Dillon's character is my favorite character in the movie.  :)

TBS's annual 24 hour marathon is no stranger in my house! :)

She's hilarious, I agree. The subtle adult nuances make it such a perfect movie!

I like that marathon, too. It is truly a movie I've yet to get tired of watching.  :)

And I find 'the Mother' a loving caring mother to her children, too.

    PLOT SPOILER!! "A CHRISTMAS STORY"

all of the moments with her and Randy when he gets upset; letting him sit under the sink when he's afraid 'Daddy's going to kill Ralphie' and she gives him a glass a milk and lets him be by himself under the sink. It's all very lovely to me.  :)

    Hi excon!!

That line sounds familiar somehow to me.
I can't identify it at the moment but it's all good. I asked the question because I thought (and it has proven true) that I would enjoy reading a lot of out-of-context lines that other people like a lot from movies I may not know.
    :)

    #1 - Crocodile Dundee
#2 - When Harry Met Sally

The third one doesn't ring any bells. Dundee 2 was the movie I took my wife to on our first date.
