Yes.  1 and 2 are correct.

Crocodile Dundee is my husband's favorite movie.

That number 2 line - - that is very funny to me, too. I only saw the movie once.

I see by your thread that the other one is "Crocodile Dundee" - I saw that one, too, but I don't remember details like your husband would, but I remember enjoying watching it.

Like Slartibartfast, I don't know the other one.

I’m gonna take this right foot, and I’m gonna whop you on that side of your face.  And you wanna know something?  There’s not a damn thing you’re gonna be able to do about it.  Cheers and happy weekend!

I could see that scene (whatever movie or genre of movie) potentially going in any direction!  :)

Great weekend to you, too, thanks! This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at April 10, 2021 11:52 PM MDT

"The Count of Monte Crisco Cristo"

Surprised you got that one past Randy's police radar.

You're right on all counts. :)
But I wrote it that way because that is the way the character ('Heywood', portrayed by William Sadler) in the movie says the line. It's one of the reasons it's my favorite line in the movie.  :)

    PLOT SPOILER!!  ("The Shawshank Redemption")

He and others are looking at books - - and he grabs that book and mispronounces it all -- including author Alexandre Dumas.  :)

Don't worry. I've seen it at least 25-30 times!

    I'm sorry -- I didn't mean to go all "lecture'y"  --    :)

I could delete my reply to you; let me know if you want me to.

I've only seen that movie three times. It's very difficult for me to watch; many scenes I find very upsetting. I think it's a great movie but I cant watch it.

I do love Thomas Newman's music score for the movie, too. I've listened to the music probably hundreds of times.  :)

That's what happens when you go to Ludicrous Speed! (it's my favourite Mel Brooks movie).

I don't know the movie that well. But once you mentioned it, then I remembered. It's pretty important to the whole movie. I can't watch that movie so well; upsetting to me.

I love the music score, though. I've listened to the score hundreds of times I bet.

Yeah, there are some really tough-to-watch parts of it. So good, though.

Very tough scenes for me, yes. Great movie, too; I agree.  (I'm actually in the movie as an extra.)

“I heard you were shot five times in the tabloids.” “That’s a lie! he never got anywhere near my tabloids!”

“I have seen a world that no man should ever see! For the love of God, you must close that portal!”

“I’m fixing to do something dumber than hell. But I’m going to do it anyway”

“We have planted our seeds. We ask - that our efforts be worthy - to produce simple food - for simple taste. We ask that our efforts be rewarded. We thank you for the food we eat from other hands - that we may share it with our fellow man - and be even more generous - what it is from our own. Thank you for our place - to make a stand.”

"You're still nothing but two-bit outlaws on the dodge. It's over, don't you get that? Your times is over and you're gonna die bloody, and all you can do is choose where."

Could you identify them all? The first two were perhaps a little obscure.
