    Haha! I was going to post another question specifically for funny/sarcastic answers, but decided the mix would be good. And hey, if that's what speaks to you, who am I to judge?

    I like the John Mellencamp take on the topic of lack of satisfaction better. That's not a Stones song I care for. This isn't one of Mellencamp's I like that much either. I probably find it a bit sad, that feeling. I strive to live in gratitude as much as possible.

    With the endless amount of "love songs" out there -- Howard Jones' "What Is Love?" nails what I find as true and honest "love" - - great music he's written and also, the lyrics he's written are profoundly true for me

    Holy crap! That's just crazy good!! 

    You know, every time I hear Mr. Jones, I think of you and you've really turned me into a fan of his! I always liked "No One is To Blame" a lot, but otherwise nothing really caught my fancy and I never owned a tape (they were cassette tapes back then, lol!) of his. Anyway, I really like him now, thanks to you. You are a very good fan and ambassador for him! :)

    Yup  -- Jones is my MAN! He's practically perfect for me. Always has been since the first 'album' I bought, the first song I heard. He's the only musical artist/singer/music group whom I've seen in concert, "live," four times. No one else have I seen that many times. Laurie Anderson is at three and The Pointer Sisters at two times.

    Since you maybe already watched/read the song lyrics for "What Is Love?" in the other video I posted, I thought I'd post the official music video for this song. I like to watch the "role" Jones plays in the video in relationship to everyone else in the video - - when watched very closely, his character is really intriguing! to me!  :)

    Man, 80's videos were really something! I don't feel like music videos are as big a deal now. 

    Very cool video, definitely interesting character!

    Same tune. The football team I root for borrowed the melody from the US Marines theme (not a hymn, BTW - a hymn by definition is a song in worship of a deity, the Marines are the good guys but there are limits) for its own theme.
