I doubt she would be considered a celebrity but any question regarding famous people gets me to think of
Harriet Tubman.
As far as famous people, she has topped my list since I first read about her when I was in my school classroom in about fifth grade and I was so visibly moved and emotionally distraught (reading the details of some of what she endured and then ended up doing and accomplishing) that my teacher came up to me and asked if I were okay.
