    Piano Man/Billy Joel
    Play Guitar/John Mellencamp
While My Guitar Gently Weeps/George Harrison (Right? Or another Beatle, maybe)
Devil Went Down to Georgia/Charlie Daniels Band
I'm in Love with the Other Woman/Ray Parker Jr.

That's all that came to mind immediately.

In some ways, I find Joel's "Piano Man" my favorite of his stuff - - and it was the very first song I heard from him. I really like "Allentown," too, though.  (And, no - it's not because of attractive guys and a short shower scene in the music video, ha. Even though I do really like the video, too.)

The first song I really associate Billy Joel with is "It's Still Rock-n-Roll to Me", but I like earlier stuff that I came to know was him later on. I also love 'Allentown' and remember the video from MTV days. Attractive guys get no arguments from me! :)

And, I promise, no big deal here; I'm not uptight at all --  but I thought I'd share just in case. Because you so regularly reply or like my comments with you, I' m wondering if, by chance, what happens to me happens to you. I get notices that people have replied to my comments and answers. But, often I do not get notices when people answer my posted questions. I find those by chance. Over past weeks I've answered one of your posted questions around five times and you've not replied. It's the question about liking songs that have fallen off one's radar.
Again, no big deal! But, with me, I know I miss people posting on my posted questions at times.  :)
    Be Well!

Maybe she was busy. She has her nights of Harem rotation duties to which she must attend, you know. Randy D doesn’t take neglect very lightly.

Yeah, I'm sure that was it.

    Why is the "H" capitalized???

It’s capitalized because it names a specific and particular entity, organization, business venture, program, etc.

Yep, that's so weird how you need to turn notifications to your own post randomly. I guess it's how they keep things fresh around here with so few regular members? I'll go find it now. You're right to assume I wouldn't ignore you on purpose! And I appreciate you telling me. I rely pretty heavily on notifications here! :)

Yes, I remember your mentioning this to me before, I believe. I usually click on that box if I see it's 'empty.'

"Life in One Day"       Howard Jones

    The opening lyrics:

The old man said to me, said, "Don't always take life so seriously. Play the flute and dance and sing your song. Try and enjoy the here-and-now, the future will take care of itself somehow . . . grass is never greener over there . . "

    God, I love Jones.
