Have you ever sat on a chair, other piece of furniture or something else that collapsed after you sat on it?

Or witnessed that happen to someone else?

It’s never happened to me, but I have seen it happen with others.

Oh, yeah.  I've flattened several chairs, 2 patio swings, and a nightstand.

Someone who likes to rock back in chairs and sit on furniture.  The patio swings were ... uh... mere coincidences.

I have but it was because it was a cheep lawn chair  and not because I was still packing my Christmas fat (I pack on 10 pounds or so ever Christmas and it takes me a couple months to drop it). I have seen it happing to a lot of other people and it sure is funnier when it happens to them. Cheers and happy weekend!

What do you want for nothing? A rubber biscuit?

Why do you mistakenly assume that I even want anything at all? What is it you want by typing the wrong words all the time? There’s the question that you should be asking yourself.

Every body wants something . And the second part  of this reply sounds like a personal attack.

“Everybody” is one word, not two, the period should not have a space before it, you have two spaces between the words “part” and “of” instead of one space.

There’s neither anything personal nor attack-related in what I wrote. Please quit trying to paint yourself as some kind of victim.

Once my office chair began to tilt side to side and front to back while I was sitting.  I just learned to sit gently and not squirm.  It became habit.  Then one day I leaned and stretched to reach something and the thing fell apart.  I sat on my office floor laughing for a few minutes then got up, got a new one that I had in the storage room, assembled it, and continued my day.  Someone said I should have saved the steel mechanism that was under the seat.  Since that is what failed I was not in agreement with him.  Anyway, ,,,,

I once sat on one of those cheapo plastic preschool chairs, thinking it was as sturdy as the chairs with my children's Fisher Price table and chairs set. It wasn't and both back legs just sort of bent to the floor. At least it wasn't a far fall, the chair was only about a foot off the ground. I don't know what I was thinking! They're made to seat a four-year old and are found at dollar stores! LOL.

Both. It's hilarious when it happens to someone else, not so much when it happened to me.
