When you go to a restaurant would you be ok with a robot taking your order and bringing food to your table?

Some restaurants have been employing robots as wait staff.

Only if the required comma were to be placed after the word “restaurant”.

    :(

Maybe I  would be OK with it if the robot had big boobies. Cheers!

I prefer to deal with a human being, but I understand that restaurants are having difficulty finding employees.  If the only way they can survive is by using robots, so be it.  Waiting on customers is a difficult job - on your feet all day, subjected to some nasty patrons, orders not being right when they aren't the ones who prepared them and then hoping for a decent tip afterwards.  Not a job I would want to do, but it's one that doesn't require a college (or high school) degree or mechanical/technical skills.

As long as the order is correct and timely, I don't care whether it's a person or robot.
Though I would miss flirting with the waitress.  lol

My family doesn’t go out to eat very often because my husband actually hates it, but robot servers might encourage my husband to want to go out to eat a little bit more.

He has a weird curse or jinx on him whenever he goes out to eat.  If it’s a seat-yourself restaurant, no matter where he sits, the server always runs over after we’ve been waiting for a while yelling “Oh, Oh, I didn’t see you come in!”

When it’s time to order, my husband looks over the menu and picks out his first choice, second choice and third choice because that’s when the other part of his restaurant curse kicks in.  Whatever he orders first, he always gets told “Oh, I’m sorry, we’re out of that.”

I think it would be interesting to watch that robot waiting on tables, that would be an attraction.

I don't really care. Just as long as the meal is hot and the beer icy cold.

It would be OK at a casual type of restaurant.  It might even be a cleaner alternative to having wait staff touch your plates and glasses as well as eliminate the spray of coughs and sneezes.

Never. It's another form of wage theft.
