I’ve lost interest in doing anything that involves leaving my house lately. Gawd that’s depressing lol.

That doesn't look to be at least a 3.5 star motel. Count me out!!

I get your hint. You prefer more rustic romantic flare.

"Professional" wrestling -- that over-the-top entertainment thing

I know little about the "real" sport of wrestling (not that professional wrestling does not require a lot of ability and strength)

I used to like inventing novelty/joke stuff then manufacture a bunch myself then making an arrangement with stores to sell the product.

Eg. Making earrings from old/surplus city dog tags were a 'best seller'. This post was edited by Kittigate at July 28, 2021 6:21 PM MDT

My once-voracious appetite (for foods, mind you) has drastically diminished over decades.

  • I used to love to drive.  Since we moved to the East Coast of the US ... I hate it!  You can get stuck in traffic and never be heard from again!

Ugh. Three years ago I went to Maine for a visit. Traffic started to back up just east of Albany and it was almost bumper to bumper all the way to the NH-ME line. Never again.

  • That's about right!  My son has to drive in that to commute for work in MD or DC.  Some evenings, he has to get off at some exit and go to a restaurant to wait it out an hour or so.  I grew up in the Chicago area.  I thought that rush hour was bad ... it was nothing compared to this.

I remember the days, 1987-1990, when I could zip though or around Chicago on my way to and from my home and the Naval base in North Chicago.

We went there a few times, along with going to the museums. I remember marching in Grant Park as a young sailor.

Your gif made me think of R.E.M.'s music video for "Everybody Hurts"   :)

EDIT: Pretend you can see a great music video for a great  song. (It won't post for me.)
