    Yes, we've used a manure spreader to cover about 10 acres of farmland with the cleanings from the cattle barn, pigpens and chicken coops then plowed the stuff into the soil and grew crops of potatoes from it and sold the potatoes to MacDonald restaurants. That is why their fries are so tasty.

  • Even though we didn't personally use a manure spreader ... we used to live in IL hog/cattle farm country.  The aroma of freshly spread manure wafted all around us.
