Are there more people in your area who don't wear face covering outdoors?

I live in San Francisco, California.  During the past month or so, I've noticed that there are more people in my area who don't wear face covering outdoors.  However, many businesses still request customers to wear face covering when patronizing the business.

They are not mandated in my city. Some businesses require them but the biggest majority of businesses do not.

Not many are insisting on masks however people are wearing them anyway.  While in a market today a woman sneezed and didn't cover her mouth.  I immediately got a mask from the store and wore it while I was there.

Roughly, 25% of the local population wear masks.  Of them, 99% are over the age of 45.

I went into the local hardware store yesterday and NO ONE was wearing mask (except me) - customers or employees.  And boy did I ever get the stares.

There are many people wearing face masks out of doors around here. Being cautious about the delta varient I presume.
Most businesses say 'masks recommend' within their premises.

Maybe 20% wearing a mask at all. Inside or out.

I've rarely seen them outdoors at all. Sadly, I'd say that despite an indoor mask mandate, less than 50% are wearing them indoors. They had mask-burning parties and wear shirts that say "Come at Me" or "Say Something, I Dare You".

    :(

Maybe you should say something to them.

Nope. I'm just trying to stay away from them and not get told that I'm living in fear for following local laws.

You could always do a “Karen” routine on them. Jes’ sayin’.

    They're the "Karens"!

I only go 'Karen' if someone's mistreating a child or animal right in front of me. Even then, I have to weigh out that I might only make it worse because child and animal abusers are like that. I mostly internally go 'Karen'.

In the area I live in here in Michigan, hardly anyone wears a mask, and haven't for a while now.

England's national mask mandate was abolished a month ago. The majority of people (maybe 60% or more) still seem to be wearing face coverings in shops and other public buildings, and on the local buses. On trains, it is perhaps more like 50% but it varies according to the time of day, with usage being very low on the late-night trains. I would estimate 20-25% are wearing them on the streets, but outdoor use was never compulsory anyway.

I live in a city of about 9 million people. There are more people here who do just about anything you can think of.
