A friend used to lend me his BB gun sometimes. I would use to try shooting blackbirds that were eating our crops.

    Are there really BB handguns?

Growing up there was a BB gun in a closet that no one ever mentioned.  It was just always in there.  I never touched it.  When we convinced my mother to sell her  house and go to an apartment we found that old BB gun.  My husband picked it up and said it was a rifle.   Something he was excited about too.

I had one. They're wicked dangerous in a small room when the BB ricochets. Had a pretty large cellar though and used to have BB gun fights. It was all fun and games until Tom got hit in the eye with a BB pellet. This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at September 10, 2021 1:34 AM MDT

    Yep.
    From about 5th grade.
We used to have a large enough area at the end of our cul-de-sac, that all the kids would shoot pellet guns there (at old cans, dishes, etc).

Now besides a pellet rifle, I also have a "BB Crossbow".  Well, it shoots 9mm ball bearings.  lol

    No.

I have never owned any sort of gun; and over the years I think I've known only two people who did.

One, a former work colleague, was a clay-pigeon enthusiast. The other is a friend who has three or four antique fire-arms. He can't shoot with them, but does occasionally demonstrate the flint-lock action, using a small powder charge.

Yes, I did. I believe it was a Daisy Red Ryder bb rifle. A lot of tin cans got a going over with that. :)
