I think the name of the movie was 'The Long Boats'. Was a good action movie about a pirate crew having adventures on the high seas and also getting into conflicts with the Arab people in a desert setting.
I was a young guy when I saw the movie.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I'd have played the cautious knight - Sir Cumspect.

I would do well to watch all of those movies -- the few I've seen are so darn funny to me. And I mean this in the best of ways, but they're so funny that, at times, I just sat there not laughing because they was SO funny. (If that makes any sense.)

I think it's in "Life of Brian," but one of the funniest set-ups for humour for me is a scene where Jesus is preaching and we see it all from some people standing WAY far away from Him, on the outskirts of the crowd, and they can't hear Jesus too well, and one of them asks," What'd he say?"
And another answers, "Blessed are the cheesemakers."
    :)
I hope I correctly remembered that moment.

I laughed out loud when I saw it.  :)  Many times during the whole movie.

    No surprise to some :

George Romero's original "Night of the Living Dead"  (1968)

(I'd be possibly even more happy to not star, but, instead, to portray one of the living dead.)
