I was thinking that the reason she can't get back on is because she got a new e-mail address since she first signed up for this site and she is trying to get back on using her new address and she keeps getting a error message. That happened to me once so that's what makes me think that. Cheers!

I have been emailing with her.  The problem is that she got a new computer and this site will not acknowledge either of her two email addresses and she doesn't want to create a third one.

Well maybe let her know that Trump has been getting away with murder since she has been gone so for the good of the country she might have to create a third one. Cheers!

LOL ... I'm sure Rosie is well aware of the havoc Trump has/is/will cause.

I'm sure she is aware of it too so she has to do everything in her power to get back here and point out the evils and dangers of Trump to the world. There have been 3 tell all books about Trump since Rosie disappeared so she will have a lot to post about when she gets back. I was wondering if her being in a corner is part of the problem (she needs a special pass word or something like that) so maybe if worst comes to worst  she could reregister and post on the main board. Cheers!

She has contacted JA and I have sent two feedback messages, but so far - crickets. This post was edited by SpunkySenior at October 1, 2021 10:10 AM MDT

Thanks for letting us know about that.

It's a strange problem to have... Do you think it would help if she used another browser? (e.g. Chrome instead of Internet Explorer, or the other way around.)

I tried setting up an account for my wife, but couldn't from this IP. I think it is a glitch.

Spouses sometimes share computers, but lots of websites really don’t like it when people do that, so you could just go to the library to sign her up.  lol, My husband tried AM when Experience Project closed, but he thought his answers were boring so he left.

I don't think so.  For some reason, AM won't accept her IP address.  I understand she has contacted JA, and I have sent two feedback messages - all to no avail.

I wonder if she may be using a VPN or her Service Provider does?
Rosie herself probably doesn't, but some new computers have that built in to their default browser security settings.
I've found some sites block me, if I use one of those "anonymous" browser settings (which is my default to prevent tracking). This post was edited by Walt O'Reagun at October 1, 2021 6:40 AM MDT

I use a VPN all of the time, but I remember this site won’t let you sign up while using one. I just wasn’t as picky about using a VPN then as I am now, so now I just won’t sign up for a site that blocks VPNs.

Then you wouldn't use the banks I use.

My bank lets me do it, it just makes me type in the moving letters and then sending a text verification code.  Netflix and Hulu give me a real hassle about it.

I barely know what my ten-year old laptop is capable of, let alone Rosie's new one. :)

(Doing that has helped me at times when I sent private messages to answerMuggers - - for a while, in one browser I couldn't do it and I  tried another one, and I could. I now can send in either browser.)

Yes (to Danilo_G's #2 to SpunkySenior) - I appreciated reading what she shared, too.

Like SpunkySenior said, I miss her. Even though we did not post on a regualr basis with each other, we still have fun.

I'm wondering if she and the also-absent Wolfhound might be sitting together over some tea and quietly discussing politics.  :)

(That is a joke - - no offense at all is intended to either person. I only notice they have very different thoughts when it comes to politics.)
