The one has nothing to do with the other. You imply that a big number of galaxies increases the chance of life being found. Well, sorry, but life is not a chance event. It is a black swan event: if you see one example, you know there is at least one example; but if you don't see one, you know nothing. The problem is that it hurts so much to admit that we don't know.
