    I did part-time work in a travel agency, started a weekend bus tour business with a friend and escorted some of those tours.

    A guide would give the impression that I explained to everyone what they were seeing.  I only made sure that everyone got into their seats, got back on the bus after stops, got their room keys, etc.  Therefore, I "escorted" the tour, I didn't "guide" it.

    I lived in a rural area for many years, I had a pickup truck and in my spare time I would go to the municipal dumps searching for scrap metals and treasure kinds of things that people would throw out.

    No.. just a part time business I guess you could call it.

    Yes, but I never really poured myself into it.  There were too many personal issues to deal with during that period.  I still have the ability to work when I want to.
