I do, but it's more like a hobby, in that I really can't make a living at it unless I were an elite umpire. I'm good, but not international standard.

I did part-time work in a travel agency, started a weekend bus tour business with a friend and escorted some of those tours.

Wait, they’re allowing it to be done on buses now?

(I’m so happy, folks! No more motel fees!)

Everyone's a comedian!  That's why I became a pole dancer - no implications other than the obvious.

Bus Tour GUIDE would probably be a better title or Driver.

A guide would give the impression that I explained to everyone what they were seeing.  I only made sure that everyone got into their seats, got back on the bus after stops, got their room keys, etc.  Therefore, I "escorted" the tour, I didn't "guide" it.

Oh, Miss Tour Escort lady! Yoo hoo, over here, please! Yes, if you don’t mind, I’d like a seat right next to the two brunettes over there, please! Thank you!

Well it was more of a laundry business than a second career (I had a business to launder my drug money). Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at November 21, 2021 7:47 PM MST

I lived in a rural area for many years, I had a pickup truck and in my spare time I would go to the municipal dumps searching for scrap metals and treasure kinds of things that people would throw out.

No.. just a part time business I guess you could call it.

My career at the time was yard switchman/ brakeman for Canadian National Railway. This post was edited by Kittigate at November 22, 2021 8:27 AM MST

Yes, but I never really poured myself into it.  There were too many personal issues to deal with during that period.  I still have the ability to work when I want to.
