    Three. He lost the popular vote the first time, but the gerrymander built in to the EC got him in.

    Again....gerrymander is moving the district lines to make it easier for an incumbent to continue to win. State boundries cannot be moved so it is impossible to gerrymander a statewide election.

    Of the original 13 colonies, exactly 2 voted red - the Carolinas. The State boundaries automatically and autocratically give the rural voters an unfair advantage, and hillibillies almost invariably vote Republican. The EC was gerrymandered from the start, the state boundaries were drawn that way.

    You can claim it is unfair.  But it is not gerrymandered.  It does not fit the definition. State borders do not move. Which is what gerrymandering is.....
