What is the worst movie that you had to sit and watch the entire thing? Many of you will disagree with my choice.

Without the music, this would have been a crappy WWII movie.

Was a Greyhound bus trip movie, can't remember the title. Was about a college kid who had great potential to become a football star player and his devoutly religious parents were totally against it. Showed some football action and a lot of yelling and screaming and arguing and fighting; nothing much interesting at all.

I’ve walked out of some movies in my time, but I can’t think of having to sit through watching an entire that I wasn’t enjoying.  The closest example I can think of is being on a first date with a young Asian woman and watching Al Pacino in “The Scent of A Woman”. We stayed through the whole thing, but she certainly was not impressed. It turned out not only to be an extremely poor choice of movie in general, but also a poor choice specifically for a first date. Needless to say, there was never a second date. Grrrrrrr.

Yeah, I was on a date when I saw it. It was her favorite movie, but I never watched it again.

Did your daughter like the movie? I’ve heard that not too many people liked it at all, mainly fans of the television show. I never watched the show, so watching the movie didn’t interest me either.

You thought that was bad, it got worse in the sequel, Sex and the City 2. I don't know if anybody sat through that.

But that film couldn't have been and wasn't made without music, so what's your point?

I once looked through a Guiness record book and came across 'The worst movie editing'. Some Japanese editors had removed all of the music. I said to myself that was the best editing job. Also, as you know, most of my questions are pointless. I guess they could have named it 'No Sounds of Music' This post was edited by Element 99 at February 20, 2022 7:30 PM MST

Pentatonix are pretty good. My older son introduced them to me.

But that was an excellent film with Julie Andrews at her peak.

Most folks enjoyed it, I'm sure. I just don't like musicals.
