What was the postage you paid for that; I can't remember.

I think around $18. I could have mailed them to my son in WA and he could have driven them to you cheaper. This post was edited by Element 99 at March 10, 2022 7:39 AM MST

But maybe not that much cheaper if you factor in the time and travel involved.

When I first started smoking 62 years ago I thought cigarettes would be about 10 or 15¢ for a pack of 20 but the price was 36¢ a pack due to tax but a lot cheaper than now at $16. a pack.

Ha ha, I dunno. I had 1st stage cancer 6 years ago, tumor was taken out by surgery, no relapse. I have developed COPD now. Tried many times to quit but cravings drive me crazy even with the help of nicotine patches, nicotine gum, etc. My health is still actually pretty good yet.

I quit when the price hit $50 for a pouch of pipe tobacco in Australia. It's now almost double that.

I was all ready to start my collection until I found out that gold and platinum coins cost upwards of $2500. F**K THAT S**T!!! I'll probably stick to silver. About $30 bucks a pop and very reasonable. This post was edited by Zack at March 10, 2022 9:32 AM MST

    My first car.
I forgot to factor in insurance, maintenance and repairs, and taxes.
"No problem.  I can afford gas."

Transitioning water service in condominium from full complex responsibility to individual unit meters.  It is the worse decision that a board can make.  By the time all of the general fees and reader, account maintenance company, share of water company's charge for main meter, board etc. gets their cut you get a $65 bill for $6 worth of water.

Defending myself and my good name against all of the frivolous restraining orders that keep getting filed against me in Minnesota, while stingingly expensive, still does not deter me from my quest for love. I have, however, come up with a way to make it worth my while to travel to that state whenever another hearing is scheduled: I drop by Sweetie Pie‘s residence to say hello.
