What do I wish you?

Thank you for asking (even though I wish the gesture was not necessary).

In my faith, we refer to it as Resurrection Day due to the pagan origins of the term “Easter”. However, I do not have a problem with anyone using the best known and accepted term for it.

I understand and I'm happy you accept my good wishes in the spirit in which they were sent. :) This post was edited by Spunky at April 16, 2022 8:49 PM MDT

I like Happy Easter. This will be the first Easter that I didn't get my Grandkids a VW sized Easter basket filled with candy. Instead I got them a couple Junior Science kits that have save the planet type experiments. So I hope they don't think the Easter Bunny doesn't like them anymore. Cheers and happy weekend! Tell them the Easter Bunny has decided to go eco-friendly.

Yeah I am going to have to make up something about Santa too. I have been thinking about not getting them anymore toys that suck up disposable batteries or toys that look way better on TV than they do in real life. Cheers and happy weekend!

You can wish me happy a happy Easter.  I celebrate the non-religious Easter traditions, like coloring eggs, having a nice Easter dinner and taking my kids on an Easter egg hunt.

Another tradition my husband and I have on Easter is betting on how many eggs our kids are going to find.  My bet is son 0, daughter 1.  My husband’s prediction is son 0, daughter 0.  We keep that particular tradition a secret from our kids.
