Quite often when I am stressed for any reason I have a tendency to acquire hunger pangs and then I will have an appetite to consume three times as much as normal.

    I can't.  Whenever I have strong emotions I don't eat.

Such as the endearing pangs of brotherly love you have for good ol’ Randolph D Randall, perhaps?

No.  I wait until I feel some relief and/or peace before eating a meal.

Angst doesn't affect me that way, but grief does. When someone close to me dies, I lose my appetite somewhat, as well has having poor sleep.
