Russia doesn't want Alaska back, Putin does. Or says he does, it could just be drumming up anti-West sentiment, stoking local paranoia because the war in Ukraine isn't the walkover he expected and the Russians are turning on him. An armed coup d'etat is the fear of every dictator, the Army isn't happy with him. A military junta isn't out of the question, the Russians aren't wedded to democracy because they've hardly ever known it.
Yeah but because of all the KFC - 11 secret herbs and spices that Trump has in his body the spit would cause a environmental disaster. Cheers and happy weekend!
Putin and Sarah would tell Trump to just stand still and pretend he is a potato so they could run to safety. Cheers!

I think Trump would be further away, geographically!
I can see why Russia might want back the territory it had sold to the USA in 1967: mineral reserves and control of the Bering Straits that may become a major sea-way with ice retreat.
I can't imagine the USA agreeing though; any more than the Greenlanders and Danes agreed to Trump apparently wanting to take over Greenland.
Nor can I imagine the indigenous, settler-descendant and present immigrant, Alaskans wanting that either.
Even with the promise of becoming the home of an ex-Presidential golf-course speculator. Errr, never mind Putin, would they want him, though?
