Did you ever fly first class on an airliner. I did once.

A first class seat opened up at the last moment, and seeing me in uniform, I was asked if I wanted to switch. It was marvelous.

Yes, when a company I worked for paid for it. I consider it a waste of my own money to pay for it.

I agree with the waste of money. Back when I was flying, though, peasant class wasn't so bad.

I've only flown business class a few times.  I don't know if that counts?

How long ago did that happen? Was it when you were still on active duty with the US Navy?

I have never done it. Yet. It’s something I would definitely like to do at least once.

It was probably 40 years ago, while I was still serving. (I was in uniform.)

Yes.  It doesn't help.  I am still mortified until my feet are on the ground.  Even back when we were poor college students we flew first class a few times.  Hubs insisted that we not check in until the last minute, hoping that the flight was overbooked.  We got a couple of free flights because of that as well as a couple of upgrades to first class.
