Did Donald J Trump wake up with a little more blood on his hands this morning?

Yesterday a man with a riffle and a nail gun attacked a FBI headquarters - he was fatally shot. The man was a die hard Trump supporter. Less then a hour after the FBI raided Trump's home he posted things like the FBI just broke into my beautiful home. The FBI did not break into his home they executed a legal search warrant. Trump also said the warrant wasn't necessary because he was cooperating with the FBI.  He was not fully cooperating because the FBI found boxes of classified documents in Trump's basement. Trump also said watch out next the FBI will be coming after you. That would be true if you had classified nuclear weapons documents hidden in your basement. Turns out the reason the FBI raided Trump's home is because they had reason to believe that Trump removed  classified nuclear weapons documents from the WH. Since the raid MAGA sites have been buzzing with talk of it being time for civil unrest and civil war and Trump has done nothing to try to put the fuse out just like he did nothing to try and stop the violence on Jan. 6th.     What I don't understand is this:  Trump couldn't possibly have removed all those boxes of documents from the White House by himself under cover of night.  SOMEONE had to have known that he was removing things he wasn't entitled to take.  In fact, it had to be several people who knew about this and, if it turns out that Trump is indicted for this, then every person who enabled him to commit this treasonous act should be indicted as well.  The January 6 hearings are proving, through testimony under oath, that many of those testifying knew what he was doing with respect to the insurrection, yet no one did anything about stopping it.  Same for those who knew he was removing classified documents.

    Yeah it is pretty crazy. They figure they are patriots because Trump tells them they are and well he is at it he tells them who their enemies are. I think it is likely Trump knew the FBI found things that could send him to jail because within hours of the raid he started floating the idea that the FBI planted stuff at his home - that's what guilty crooks do.     They packed it. The General Services Administration  packed, sealed and mailed them to Mar a Lago. 

    They were all declassified by Trump while he was still POTUS.

    Lol.  You know as former POTUS he still has clearance to view all of the files (they were declassified but even so)
    Mar a Lago has had a safe room that is referred to as a SCIF, or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, since 2017. So legally he is allowed to view a classified document in that safe room.

    What do you believe is false or misinformation?  There is and has been a SCIF at Mar a Lago  since 2017 and as former POTUS  Trump still has a top secret clearance.

    The SCIF was removed when Trump left office. Whether or not those documents were classified , they did not belong to Trump. If they are still classified (which is a  matter for legal debate), Trump himself signed a law making it a felony to retain them at an unauthorized location. Presidential records must be kept under the control of the National Archives, I  am not going to automatically assume the worst until we get more answers.

    I have said repeatedly that there are way too many unanswered questions to draw any conclusions. All I  care about at this point is that facts are accurate. Watch this if you are interested in seeing another side of what you think are facts. I apologize that it's from CNN,  but it contains statements from the National Archives and the GSA, which have also been published elsewhere.  It may not affect your beliefs,  but at least you know where the other side is coming from.

    In your video, CNN starts off with a "fact-check" that is inaccurate. Saying that Obama did not take documents. He did they were sent to his foundation in Hoffman Estates. 

    So yes, facts would be nice.  But in this political climate they are hard to find. 

    Obama did indeed take 30M docs to Chicago (Hoffman Estates) to be digitized....they have not been.  The agreement  between Obama Foundation and NARA Archivist was signed on Sept 21, 2018, it confirms the records were at Hoffman Estates, not NARA facility, on Sept 11, 2018 (date of the agreement)...this is 18 months after Obama left office.

    The boxes contain documents and mementos from Trump’s presidency, reportedly including letters from Barack Obama and Kim Jong Un, and other correspondence with world leaders.

    A legal source said that the boxes had been packed up by the General Services Administration and shipped to Mar-a-Lago when Trump left office in January 2020.

    Trump’s attorneys, led by Evan Corcoran, had been cooperating fully with federal authorities on the return of the documents to the National Archives and Records Administration, according to sources.

    Trump did have the power to declassify documents well he was in office (he lost that power when he left office) and once he declassified a document (well in office) that folder would get a declassified stamp. The classified documents  in the 20 plus sets of boxes Trump had at his home didn't have that stamp on them they still were stamped classified. And the recite the FBI gave to Trump's lawyer would confirm that. Mar a Lago might have a safe room but the documents weren't in that safe room they were in a storage room in the basement  with a padlock on the door (probably a cheep padlock) and the recite the FBI gave would confirm that too.     Does not have to be restamped...for a POTUS to declassify something.    
    There was a standing order that any docts he brought home for review were declassified.

    trump is an ahole.  he has teh blood of this country on his hands.   Not just in people, but the literal nation.  he's been waging a self-absorbed war against this nation from before he even took office.  On one side is him and his massive ego, on the other is America.  and the people are taking sides.
