Two. English (Australian idiom) and basic German. I can read Classical and Koine Greek a little Hebrew, but don't speak them. I can curse in ten languages and know "thank you" in seventeen.

English and a secret one from high school that four of us knew.  I never shared it and doubt the others did either, but I don't know for sure.

It's more like Mush Mouth speak on the Fat Albert Show.  There is actually a comprehensive Google article on the language.

Well, I receive an inside tip there is gong to be an earthquake soon and wanted to wait until after it happens.  And besides I need to work for a little while to save for much needed dental work.  It's gotten to the point I have no choice, it will cost  a pretty penny and I'll have to save for quite a while.

You’re talking about the present, I’m talking about the 1950s teens.

Other than English, I had German and Spanish in high school.  I don’t think I’m really conversant in either Spanish or German.  When I went on my honeymoon in Europe, I let my husband do most of the talking.

Anyway, we’re teaching our kids foreign languages now so they won’t struggle trying to learn them in the future.  I have them FaceTime with Martina so they can learn Spanish.  If she’s teaching them any bad Spanish habits, I’ll probably never know about it.

Send your kids to stay with Uncle Randy D for a while. You know he speaks Spanish (on top of all of his other great qualities and traits), and he doesn’t use or tolerate profanity in any of the languages he speaks.
