He's an *-hole who doesn't care about playing with human lives.  I could say more, but I don't need a heart attack.

I think it sends a point.  We need to secure the border. And no one cares until it effects them.
DC, Chicago (she bused them to another suburb of Chicago),  NY etc all sanctuary cities whose officials had a meltdown after just get a couple thousand illegals to deal with. Border states deal with hundreds of thousands regularly.

Secure the border. I personally do not like the illegals being sent farther into the interior of the country....deport them back quickly.

She? The 50 were from Venezuela. They would be murdered.

She as in Mayor Lightfoot....bused the illegals that Gov Abbott (TX) sent to Chicago. Mayor Lightfoot bused them out of Chicago to neighboring suburbs without letting those Mayor's know she was sending them.

She did the same thing...and wants to complain about it.

45% of illegals are visa overstayers. They fly in. Going to roof over the airports as well?

That may have been the case in the past under Trump because he was securing the border and working with Mex to stop the flow. But there will be 2 million coming over the southern border this year. I do not believe that is only 55%.  But even if it is 55%, that is enough reason to secure the border.  It needs secured.
The ones overstaying need to be found and deported as well.  But the border is more important  and needs secured first. This post was edited by my2cents at September 16, 2022 10:16 AM MDT

I'll bet it wasn't a very nice bus. Uncaring &*^% like him probably deliberately separated families, too.

But I can relate with wanting to visit Martha's Vineyard! :)

Never been there.  The immigrants are going to live, not just visit.

    Me, neither.

I know. But if not separated from family and provided a warm place to live, I'd rather live there than in Florida.

What is wrong with Florida?  So many seniors move there, must be something good about the place.

I enjoy visiting Florida, nothing wrong with it. If I had the choice, I believe I'd prefer the overall climate on Martha's Vineyard. Physical, philosophical, political, etc.

Biden wanted this, but then again he has dementia and should be controlled somehow with his decisions that devastate so many.
There are only so many resources or people to make them happen meanwhile our American citizens are struggling with inflation, I experience it every time I go to the store.  I feel for the people who want to come here and have a better life, but it has to be done the right way.  They are not being vetted properly, nor do they have the Covid vaccination.  We all are put at risk.  I know someone in Oregon who said two bus loads arrived in their little town in the middle of night.  No press reported it, she said it was all kept quiet.

Biden has been doing thus for a long time and no outrage until the rich people at Martha's Vineyard  had to deal with a whole 48 people.

Within 24 hrs, deported from the island using the military....our country should take the same practice.

I cannot begin to comprehend how anyone could stoop so low as to use human beings who are in su h a vulnerable position to make a political point.

These migrants are being used as pawns in this political theater - how unfortunate.  Can you imagine what these children will go through in their lives as they grow up?  I agree that the issue of immigration/asylum must be addressed, but this is not the way.
