If you didn’t get your homework challenge from another question on here done on time, don’t feel bad.  I’ve done worse.

One time Jaimie asked a question about our school lunchboxes so I went to the closet to dig out my lunchbox.  I found a late work notice for a literature report from 8th grade that I hid in my thermos.  My parents were supposed to sign that late work notice, lol.  I don’t even remember being assigned that report.

I think the teacher assigned it while just about the entire class was at home and sick with something.  He was a jerk like that.

Here, I have some chemical equations for you to balance.  While you’re suffering with those, I’ll be torturing Element 99 by making him watch you do it.

As I was writing it, I worried about disappointing you especially. I think I'm not being too aloof if I say my two chemistry teachers failed to make the subject interesting (even though it certainly should be). I expected to learn about the materials that make up the world, about what greenhouse gases are, what matter humans are made of and why... Instead, they just made us draw lines between letters.

Lines between letters? Strange.

Just my depreciative way of referring to a load of this again:

That's complex organic chemistry. Alchemy and wizardry. I taught the basics.

Oh, cool. At least I sucked at something complex!

I loved chemistry class.  The best part of chemistry class was testing the emergency shower. 

I imagine you using that as a devious pick-up line.

I did that once. It stuck open. What a mess, but quite funny.

The day we tested the emergency shower was the best day in Chemistry ever!  I was sitting in class talking to my friends and I heard the chemistry teacher saying, “Livvie?  Livvie?  Do you want to teach this class?”

I said “Okay, cool!”, so I walked to the front of the class and the teacher just said “Fine, I’ll take a seat in the back.  Since you always have so much to say, you can teach this class.”

It was the most fun class ever!  I said “We’re going to test the emergency shower today!  Anybody who stands under the shower gets an A!”

It made a huge mess so the teacher made us all mop it up, lol.  The principal wanted to know why there was water in the hallway outside of the door.

I stood under the shower and so did four others so the teacher let us keep our As that day for extra credit.
