If you saw someone fall into the deep end of a swimming pool would you just scream for help until they drowned?

    I would definitely jump in and save the person.

    This is my answer to the question before you changed it;
    I'd like to wake up next to the one I love, spend evenings together and do what all married couple do, just live life together.  Other than that I am happy, though I'd like to live with him at the beach in warm weather.  There is no fight, I am resigned to a single life and continuing my education.

    I would make a fist - raise a arm in the air - sing he first part of the Mighty Mouse theme song then dive into action. I would also be calling out for help to be on the safe side. Cheers!

      Truth be told, the person would probably die on my watch because I’d be too busy paying more attention to the missing comma after the word “pool” in your post. Grrrrrrr.

    Well, I used to be an excellent swimmer back in the day, but haven't gone in ages.  I would jump in and try to keep that person's head above water until I could side-stroke back to the edge of the pool.  The unknown is how panicked that person might be and would they be so uncontrollable as to drag both of us down.  At that point, I would probably have to let go and save myself. I have been a lifeguard and know what to do and would go in after them. No way i could just watch.

    Although I never learned to swim, I would certainly get in there and do the best I could. Of course, I would be yelling for help the whole time.
