Yep. Even my kids would have to call me "Doctor Mom".

Wouldn't want someone to react to that the way I would. Sticking out my tongue and saying "aah."

    Hi Danilo_G!
what a difference a day makes - - today that big guy I posted here -- today he's not coming across creepy at all to me.  I like his friendly, fun expression.  :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds the image creepy. :)
    He's creepy again to me.

I sometimes don't know what I mean, ha.  :) This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at April 1, 2023 6:57 AM MDT

Not in life, but it is proper in academic settings.  Same for those holding Juris Doctorate degrees.

Gee, personally, I would love to address you as Doctor during our er, um, “sessions”. (Cough, cough.)

At my workplace I would insist such a thing, but as far as my nonexistent friends, I don't think so.

It seems a bit beneath me and my station in life. We would NOT be amused. The peasants must continue to address me properly as “Your Majesty” (while averting their lowly eyes, of course), or heads will roll! Grrrrrrrrrr.

A PhD, no. Piled Higher and Deeper.
    An MD, absolutely.
