    Of all the cold blooded (cool) animals, I like the bees the best because they can make honey.

    I can't begin to pick one coolest, although Welby's giant anteater does come to mind as being up there with the coolest of the cool. 

    Pangolins are super cool and duck-billed platypus have to be up there with the coolest, too.

    Antarctic fur seals:

    This answer was inspired by your mention of penguins.  I searched penguins and I got a lesson in the perverseness of penguins and the even more perverted things that Antarctic fur seals do to penguins.  When an Antarctic fur seal has its way with a penguin, the other penguins just stand around and watch.

    sirena Martina brought to my mind my other answer!!

    Though I like all of The Animals, maybe lead singer Eric Burdon is the coolest Animal.  :)

    I LOVE the soul of his voice coming out of this little ten-years-old looking guy  :)

    These guys are the epitome of "cool". They honestly don't give a flying firetruck about what anybody thinks, even sharks don't mess with them and they use puffer fish as blunts.
