Is this a great day or what? Ex-Proud Boys leader Tarrio guilty of Jan. 6 sedition plot.

Hope he gets the 20-year maximum which, in my opinion, is not nearly long enough for the chaos he caused.

How could that be - Carlson said Jan. 6th was just a peaceful protest. I remember shortly after Jan. 6th people were saying Jan. 6th was not a coup attempt because the people that were there were only getting minor trespassing charges. That has changed and some serious charges are being handed out. On another site someone scoffed at my statement that Jan. 6th was a coup attempt. So I replied back with a joke that I would like to share here. I said - Jan. 6th was a coup attempt . And it was also a coupe attempt  because a bunch of clowns got out of a tiny car and tried to take over the government. Cheers!

The orange clown is still laughing (but not for long). The tiny car was a metaphor for Trump's fiendish brain. His fiendish brain drove the insurrectionist's to the capital on Jan. 6th. Not sure about this part but I think Trump's fiendish/greedy brain asked the insurrectionist's for gas money when it dropped them off at the capital. Cheers!

Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't want to pay for his own gas!

Yeah and he would charge them for high test gas and only buy regular. What gets me is while the insurrectionist's are being charge Trump is at Mar-a-Lago hugging one of them and calling her a real patriot even though she wants Mike Pence to be executed. Cheers!

They ALL need a nice long time behind bars.   Shame the real ring-leader will never do time.

He may not do time for Jan 6, but there are other lawsuits out there to be decided and maybe, just maybe, one of them will bear fruit.  I ask the Universe to make that happen all the time.

Never mind locking him up, treason and insurrection are CAPITAL crimes. String him up (or strap him to a table on a KCl drip).

I am just curious how a person/group can be guilty of seditous conspiracy (Seditious conspiracy occurs when two or more people conspire to “overthrow, put down” or “destroy by force”) and obstruction but NOT assault....

How exactly do you attempt to overthrow or destroy a government and not commit assault?

This piece of garbage was not actually at the Capitol on Jan. 6, so he couldn't have assaulted anyone or anything.

"Prosecutors painted Tarrio as the leader of the plot, despite not physically being in Washington that day."

So how to you overthrow/destroy a government and you do not even show up physically? How do you overthrow/destroy a government and your collaborators do not even have a weapon?

    Makes no sense.

Seriously?  He planned and plotted the group's appearance at the Capitol.  The fact that he wasn't personally physically there doesn't mean he isn't responsible for what the group did.

He planned and plotted his group to appear at the Capitol. It was a protest many people and groups were there. Of their group the majority were FBI, these 4 were not....sounds like entrapment to me.

If he was not there and the others were not violent....they did NOTHING wrong.

That bit about them not having weapons is getting old and it has been proving not to be true. Cheers!

They did not have weapons....you maybe tired of that fact, but it is a fact.

My brother can kill someone with a beer bottle cap - can you imagine what a insurrectionist could do with a 6 foot long flag poll. Cheers!

If I were to decide to overthrow a government, I would have weapons....not a bottle cap, not a flag pole but real weapons.

    Hello my:

You said so yourself.  Conspiracy is TALKING about committing a crime, and then committing an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy..  The "overt" act could be as minor as renting a hotel room.  For example..  What if you and talked/conspired to rob a bank, and the next day I bought some rope and duct tape??  Do I have to go to a bank or anywhere near a bank to be guilty of conspiracy?  Nahh.

You mean the "plan" that the FBI had his girlfriend send to him just before Jan 6, the plan that the government wrote themselves and cannot even prove that the man even opened and read, that plan? That is entrapment. Or conspiracy to entrap...

As to your example, yes, they should have to prove that you had no other purpose for the duct tape and rope before they should be allowed to arrest you.

This is their main evidence of his supposed plan to seditous conspiracy.

    Hello again, my:

Nahhh...  Around 20 December 2020, Tarrio created a chat called “MOSD Leaders Group”.  The chat was used to plan a “DC trip” where all would dress in dark tones, to remain incognito.

Putting your fingers on the keyboard, and pressing "enter" IS an overt act.
