Do you mean like how fast I went from being a bit overweight before Covid to being a balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?

I never thought about fingerprints wearing down with age, but now that you mention it, when I look at my finger pads, they are more wrinkled, so I'm not surprised if that might get in the way of getting a clear print.
You bet! I'm currently being monitored/treated for at least four different conditions that could take my life at any time. In the past five years, I've had three major surgeries and two smaller surgeries. It's been exhausting. But the one thing that bugs me every day is that I no longer have enough hair left to style. (sigh!)
That caricature of me was drawn by my daughter about ten years ago when I actually did have hair.

Yes, that's an expression that I've used myself. Back in the 80s, I learned it from a cousin shortly before she died after a battle with breast cancer and helping her husband through the condition that took his life.
That must mean you are swimming in a sea of multiple co-morbidity and sure to call your age an accomplishment like me you see.

Ability to hear higher frequencies really does lessen with age. Even if you have exceptional/sensitive hearing. My son, who requires the volume to be much higher than I do when watching tv or listening to music, could hear frequencies that I could not. It surprised me.
